Can I use the Resurfacing Crème and the Spot Treatment together?
Resurfacing Crème and Spot Treatment are both of our most potent products. Veteran skincare and Perfec-Tone users may do this for immediate effects. However, this is not the best usage for everyone.
The Spot Treatment is intended for use after you have used the Resurfacing Crème and acquired most of the results you planned for your skin. Sometimes, even after using the Resurfacing Crème, some severe spots may remain - this is when you use the Spot Treatment. The Spot Treatment is a potent product intended for one to five individual spots. If you bought these products together, don't worry. Save your Spot Treatment in a very cool place until you are ready for it.
Will I experience peeling while using this product?
Yes, due to the fantastic exfoliating properties of vitamin A, damaged or unhealthy layers of skin are removed to reveal glowing skin free of texture and marks. If you exfoliate regularly or don’t have damaged skin, your skin may not peel and will only fade to perfection. We also advise a slow usage to start, rubbing the product in at first and increasing use over time. Massaging the product bypasses the effects of the retinol and will avoid peeling.
Will I appear brighter or discolored after using the Resurfacing Crème?
Possibly. These effects are completely normal. Discoloration or brightness may happen temporarily as damaged skin flakes away and the newer skin reveals. Even melanin-rich skin tans and under the tanned skin will appear brighter, however never brighter than your natural skin color. This brighter color may be the color of the upper outer thigh. Your color tends to get back to the color you are used to within one to two weeks.
Is it normal for my skin to feel irritated?
Yes. Irritation (slight tingling sensation) may occur on newly revealed skin and sensitive areas of your face. To prevent this reaction, use the Revitalizing Serum before every use to regenerate your new skin cells faster.
If you do not have damaged skin, you won’t peel and won't feel any irritation. We also advise a slow usage to start, rubbing the product in at first and increasing use over time. Massaging the product bypasses the effects of the retinol and will avoid irritation.
What should I do and expect if I never exfoliated before?
If you've never exfoliated before, we advise that you start using the product very slowly by rubbing one pump into your skin and increasing usage gradually over time.
Using too much too soon will cause increased peeling and possible irritation. Your skin will have accumulated a large amount of damaged skin and will be reactive to this powerful product. To help alleviate this further, use a gentle exfoliator like the Exfoliating Cleanser for a week or two before starting this product.
Is this product safe to use outside?
Yes. Although this product has retinol within its formulation, we added sunscreen to protect you from general sun exposure. If you will have longer outside exposure, such as a day at the beach, use a hat and an SPF to protect you from prolonged sun exposure further.
My skin stopped peeling, is the product still working?
Yes, it is still working. It means that there is no more damaged skin, and the product is now easily absorbed in the pores to fade your skin to perfection.
Can I use it with any other products?
We do not recommend constantly mixing vitamin A with ingredients such as vitamin C, benzoyl peroxide, and AHA/BHA acids within the same skin regimen due to the fantastic naturally exfoliating properties in vitamin A. To have complete control over your initial skin journey, we recommend you not mix this product with other brands unless tested together on the forearm prior.
How long do I use this product?
You should use the Resurfacing Crème in 14-day intervals to start. Give your skin two to three days break in between the intervals. Once your skin becomes used to the product, and you receive flawless results, you can use it as needed. You can also use it every night or every other night based on your preference to keep your skin flawless.
Can I use it during pregnancy?
No. We do not recommend using products that contain topical Vitamin A during the stages of pregnancy.
Can I use it during laser treatments or with medications?
We recommend suspending the use of the product around five days before submitting your skin to laser treatment or wax and resume use once the skin heals and treatment is complete. We also recommend checking with your dermatologist if you are using specific acne prescriptions.

I have battled with dark marks for almost 15 years. Any little bump leaves a mark, and it did not help that as a teen I did not know I was not supposed to constantly keep picking and popping pimples. If you suffer from acne scars like myself then this is what you need. I've tried for YEARS to clear up my skin and get rid of scars but nothing every truly worked. They've ll promised something that was never delivered and trust me I gave them a fair shot of a good 6months to a year for minimal results. However, with this company I have received a 95% difference in less than 3 months. I started around the 1st wk of Feb 2020 and these are my results from April to May 2020. Ignore the price and get this and their other skincare. I used the cleanser, sal soap (when they had it. They should get it back), refining cream, clarifying gel and spot treatment just incase anyone is curious.
