Never layer retinoids within 24 hours
If you use prescription tretinoin, do not use any Perfec-Tone retinol product on the same night. Two retinoids in 24 hours means guaranteed irritation.

Pause if burning or raw skin appears
Mild dryness and light flaking are normal. Burning that doesn't stop, raw skin, or open irritation is not. Wash it off and contact us before continuing.

Always pair with sunscreen during the day
Retinol increases photosensitivity. SPF 30+ every morning, every day, is non-negotiable. Without it, you are actively undoing the treatment and risking worsening hyperpigmentation.

Build frequency slowly
Start 2x per week. Hold that for 2 weeks. Increase to 3x, then nightly only if skin tolerates it well. Pushing too fast doesn't accelerate results — it causes setbacks.
If you are on prescription tretinoin: Tretinoin nights = tretinoin + plain moisturizer only. Non-tretinoin nights can use ONE Perfec-Tone retinol product. Never layer retinoids within 24 hours.

Do I use it all over my face?
No. Use it only on the specific spots you want to treat. Targeted use helps you get results without unnecessary irritation.
How long until I see a difference?
Many people notice movement in 2 to 4 weeks, then continued fading over the next month or two. Consistency matters more than using a thick layer.
Can I use it on the same day as other retinoids?
No. Do not combine retinoid products in the same 24 hours. That is how people end up with irritation that makes marks look worse.
Can I use Spot Treatment and Resurfacing Crème together?
No. Do not use them in the same 24 hours. Choose one retinol product at a time to avoid vitamin A overload, which can lead to irritation and marks looking worse.
Who should avoid this product?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, avoid vitamin A products. If your skin is raw, burning, or severely peeling, pause and focus on gentle cleansing, moisturizer, and SPF until calm.
Is this product safe to use outside?
No, this product is intended for use at night only.
Who should use the Spot Treatment?
The Spot Treatment treats severe spots (no more than five (5)). It is ideal to use after you have used the Resurfacing Crème for a while to eliminate most spots. If you don't have multiple marks and only one to five, you can use the Spot Treatment without using the Resurfacing Crème.
Do I leave the Spot Treatment on, or do I need to wash it off?
The Spot Treatment is applied directly onto the discolored area and left to absorb into the skin thoroughly.
Can I use it with any other products?
We do not recommend constantly mixing vitamin A with ingredients such as vitamin C, benzoyl peroxide, and AHA/BHA acids within the same skin regimen due to the fantastic naturally exfoliating properties in vitamin A.
To have complete control over your initial skin journey, we recommend you not mix this product with other brands unless tested together on the forearm prior.
How long do I use this product?
You should use the Spot Treatment lightly to start until your spots are gone. Once your skin becomes used to the product and you receive flawless results, you can use it as needed to keep your skin flawless.
Can I use it during pregnancy?
No. We do not recommend using products that contain topical Vitamin A during the stages of pregnancy.
Can I use it during laser treatments or with medications?
We recommend suspending the use of the product around five days before submitting your skin to laser treatment or wax and resume the use once the skin heals and treatment is complete. We also recommend checking with your dermatologist if you are using specific acne prescriptions.

This spot treatment is the real deal!! And it works with the quickness!! I have seen actual results!! I recommended my daughter to get her some because she’s been trying everything under the sun and even some expensive cream her dermatologist prescribed but nothing and I mean nothing has been able to compete! Oh and I’ve had my spots for years under my chin and now they are almost gone. I thought I would never find a solution for them beyond makeup but boy was I wrong.

This Product is the truth!!!!!! My skin has significantly improved! I started august 2020 had really bad acne and dark spots and discoloration (im African American) & it took about a year but i used this product religiously night & day! I have 80% Clear Skin now December 2021. I will never stop using this product! It’s amazing . Nothing had worked before this product. I tried everything! Every creme, every compound, every peel. This is the only thing that’s shown good results. It definitely took time before I saw results but I can say it 100% works! I used the Claryifying Gel + The refining crème + the facial wash + resurfacing crème. As my skin clears, and the resurfacing crème is almost done, I purchased the spot treatment to use to get rid of the stubborn spots. I’ll let you guys know how that turns out as well
